There Are No Limits

What would you achieve if you didn't believe in terms like "impossible, quitting, or backing down?" what could you do if you never gave in to the voices that tell you to stop when something becomes difficult or hard? What if the only limits you had were the ones you created? What if you had no limits? What would you do...?
This video is of a hero of mine. William Trubridge is a free diver who has set several world records and has seen and done things that most of us will only be lucky enough to dream about. He did this because he never thought there was a limit. He never backed down or quit...

Believe.

The White Board

The white board certainly has found a commonplace at the CrossFit indoor program. Thinking on this I decided to experiment by taking it to a outdoor program and see what happened. I felt it was met with great success. Each morning the participants are eager to write their name to the daily list as they prepare to meet the Workout of the Day and challenge the stopwatch. I even heard that other bootcamps are becoming hip to the trend...

New Look of the "Bars"

By wrapping the PVC pipe with tape that mirrors the marks like that of Olympic Lifting Bars we can better grasp an understanding of the Burgner Warmup. It also serves as a great visual of hand placement for various lifts such as the snatch, push press, and overhead squat. Look for this marking trend to filter into other CrossFit classes....

Fight! Fight for your goals! Fight for your beliefs! Fight for your dreams! Just Fight!

Whether it's fighting to loose inches off your waist, fighting to become stronger and faster, fighting for mental fortitude; it all begins to turn real the moment you step into the ring, field, gym, the bootcamp. It starts the moment you wake up before the sun, grab your workout gear and make your way to train. Commitment and consistency become your allies. Weakness and fear may chase you like hungry dogs but your endurance carries you past such distractions. Your obstacles will become nothing. To me- that's what living is.

Self Affliction: Push Yourself

Here's a WOD I did towards the end of April. This workout was difficult for me but I plan on using it as a personal benchmark for myself as a method to measure my improvement. It took me 11:30 to complete it. Can anyone out there do it faster...? Film it and post it. I want to get done in under 10min.
