I have been diagnosed with a Labral tear in my hip socket.

Understanding pain

Specific to teh injury

The start of my treatment

It is with tears in my eyes that I type this- That I can not CrossFit, I can not train on any serious level, I am not well. I must stop and heal. This isn't easy for me and it breaks my heart.

Damn. I'm sorry to hear that you're injured Randal. I how much it sucks to not be able to train... hang in there. If you go after recovering from this injury with the passion that you train with - you'll be back, and better than ever!

keep your chin up randal. injuries are frustrating. Look at your treatment as another opportunity to inspire people. post your progress on the blog.

Thanks guys! Will do. I realize that in our world there is a certain "toughness" like in tearing hands/puking/reaching physical limit/ect.. but I have now learned of a harder toughness. That of self control. The ability to stop and step back. To tap out.
I'm shifting my focus to the 2 lesser trained aspects of my trinity (mind/body/spirit)and believe me I have a lot of room for growth in those depts so I'm in no rush..;)
