Practitioner of Movement

I see shopping bags that tell me to "do one thing each day that scares you" and hear commercials that tell us to "just do it." The only thing that keeps you from reaching your goals is yourself. If I got caught in the hype of "if only I was good enough" or "there's people who are better than me, so why should I even start" then I would not be a coach/trainer, I would not have this blog, and I wouldn't be a CrossFitter.
I wake every day to the thought of new possibilities and new potential. I constantly feel growth. I only recently felt completely free when I stopped fearing the judgements/reactions of others. The sound of my heartbeat and the thought of my intentions drown out all distractions. The children's author Dr Seuss hit it on the mark when he said that "those who mind don't matter- and those who matter don't mind."
I am a practitioner of movement. Only some of you will understand this. I ask that those who do to listen to their hearts and follow your dreams. I would rather hand out 1000 appologies after having tried, failed, and looked the fool- than to carry 1 regret on my shoulders.
